Day 1: Walking Tour of Ancient Bukhara
The tour starts at the Lyabi-Khauz ensemble, the heart of the old city. You'll visit the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, a 10th-century architectural masterpiece, and the Chashma Ayub Mausoleum. The route continues to the immense Ark Citadel, the former residence of Bukhara's emirs. A major highlight is the Poi-Kalon complex, featuring the iconic Kalon Minaret, the grand Kalon Mosque, and the active Miri-Arab Madrasah. You will also meander through the three ancient trading domes and visit the Magoki-Attori Mosque.
