Discover the Fergana Valley, Uzbekistan's green oasis and a vibrant hub of traditional crafts. This budget-friendly tour takes you from Tashkent to see the pottery of Rishton, the silks of Margilan, and the historical city of Kokand.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Tashkent to Fergana via Kokand
Drive from Tashkent over the Kamchik Pass to the Fergana Valley. Stop in Kokand to visit the Palace of Khudoyar-Khan and Jami Mosque. Continue to Fergana city for overnight stay.
Day 2: Margilan Silk & Rishton Pottery
In the morning, drive to Margilan to visit the Yodgorlik Silk Factory. Afterwards, travel to Rishton to visit the workshop of a famous ceramicist to see the pottery-making process. Return to Fergana.
Day 3: Return to Tashkent
Morning visit to the Kumtepa Bazaar (operates on Thursdays and Sundays). Afterwards, begin the drive back to Tashkent.
