Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1-7: Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand
A classic 7-day tour of Uzbekistan's main cities, including a flight to Khiva and high-speed trains between Bukhara and Samarkand.
Day 8: Tashkent to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Travel from Samarkand to Tashkent by train and take an evening flight to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Day 9: Bishkek & Ala Archa Park
City tour of Bishkek and a trip to the nearby Ala Archa National Park for a short hike.
Day 10: Journey to Issyk-Kul Lake
Drive to the northern shore of Issyk-Kul, the world's second-largest alpine lake. Visit Burana Tower en route.
Day 11: Karakol and Jeti-Oguz
Explore the town of Karakol, including the Dungan Mosque and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Visit the stunning red rock formations of Jeti-Oguz valley.
Day 12: South Shore of Issyk-Kul to Kochkor
Travel along the scenic southern shore of the lake. Arrive in the village of Kochkor, a center for traditional felt-making.
Day 13: To Song-Kul Lake
Ascend into the high-altitude pastures to Song-Kul Lake (3,016m). Experience nomadic life with an overnight stay in a yurt camp.
Day 14: Return to Bishkek
After a morning at Song-Kul, drive back to Bishkek.
Day 15: Departure from Bishkek
Transfer to the airport for your departure.
